In 2024, UniSQ will offer one Bennett & Bennett Women in Surveying Scholarship to support a female student commencing or continuing their studies in an associate or bachelor’s degree program with a surveying major.
Established in 2024 through the founding gift from Bennett and Bennett, this endowed scholarship celebrates the organisation’s commitment to community support and long-term vision to increase female participation in the surveying profession.Bennett & Bennett Women in Surveying Scholarship
Applicants must:
- be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
- identify as female
- be a commencing or continuing student
- be intending to enrol or be enrolled full-time at UniSQ in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in surveying (or with a surveying major) in Trimester 3 2024
- commencing students – have at least a sound level of academic achievement from prior studies
- continuing students – have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 as at the release of results for Trimester 1 2024.

Applicants must:

address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
- what influenced and motivated you to choose your intended study program at UniSQ
- how you see yourself as a future professional within your field

provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
- commencing students - final year school report card or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results)
- continuing students – unofficial academic transcript, current as at the date of application.
*Extra consideration optional task:

provide a statement (200 words maximum), outlining your community involvement within your school or local region for the previous two years (e.g. volunteer role in a charity organisation or sporting group).
- applicants must upload evidence to support claims made in their statement.
*Extra consideration will also be given to commencing students
Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
