First launched in June 2014, the USQ Social Hub website is an Australia University first, housing over 400 content pieces in the form of blogs, videos, slides, infographics, quizzes, eBooks and podcast episodes. Development of these vital online resources is funded by the Student Amenities Fee and managed by USQ’s Social Engagement & Marketing team. The content published on Social Hub aims to break down potential barriers for studying students by presenting stories, information and inspiration from alumni, staff, current students and industry experts to support every student throughout their learning journey and into their career.

Our Community Guidelines aim to ensure that our online spaces are inclusive and inviting for everyone. A place where you can discuss your thoughts, advice, experiences and perhaps even put that ‘pro’ into procrastination.
By considering our Community Guidelines listed below, you can help us continue to offer a place where everyone feels welcome and is able to share their suggestions and experiences.
Please feel free to express yourself. However, violation of these Community Guidelines will result in your post being deleted and you being blocked from our social communities. We may also notify law enforcement if we believe that there is a genuine risk of physical harm or a direct threat to public safety.
We welcome your feedback and acknowledge that there may come a time when you need to inform us of ways in which we can improve your student experience.
USQ’s social media sites and Social Hub forums are moderated from 9am – 4pm AEST during week days.
