Headstrong online program
What is Headstrong?
Headstrong is a free online program designed for current students to learn game changing tools to help you succeed in study and life. The program focuses on helping you to identify your important life values, and to learn some personal skills and strategies to help you feel competent in your academic abilities and become better equipped to overcome barriers that you may face throughout your studies.
Who can participate in Headstrong?
Current USQ undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to participate (exclusions apply*).
When does the program run?
Headstrong will be offered as a 6 week program during both Semester 1 and Semester 2 during 2017, as well as a flexible course running from October 2017 to January 2018 for students planning on getting ahead before commencing study in 2018:
- Headstrong online program, Semester 1: 3 April – 12 May 2017 (Registrations now closed)
- Headstrong online program, Semester 2: 14 August – 22 September 2017 (Registrations now closed)
- Getting Ahead Headstrong online program: 9 October 2017 – 31 January 2018 (Registrations open)
A time commitment of up to 2 hours per module across 6 modules throughout the program will be required to adequately cover the materials. You can complete the course content in your own time at your own convenience.

* Students who do not pay Student Amenities Fees including TPP, EAP, ELAS (ELICOS), IHEPP, Research Training Scheme, Office of Higher Research Degrees, Headstart (first course only), or CPA students; and students attached to a partner university, are unable to participate.
